Meet Sarah Holding
Having been a postman, an architect, a university professor and a community planner, Sarah Holding is now a full-time author. She lives in Surrey in a funny old house with a leaning tower with her husband and three teenage children. She loves vegan food, good coffee and modern jazz.
Sarah believes that her motivation to become an architect when she left school is the same as what has led her to write ‘clifi’ or climate fiction now, the genre which her ‘SeaBEAN‘ trilogy and forthcoming title ‘Chameleon‘ fall into: a desire to make the world a better place.
Since ‘SeaBEAN‘ was published in 2013, she has given workshops and talks in over 150 schools, and the trilogy was republished in a compendium edition in 2018.
‘Chameleon‘, which is due to be published in early 2020, is about three genetically engineered humans and is set during the fall of Atlantis, which Sarah speculates happened during an earlier period of intense climate change.
